Through the Diversophy card game we exchange our stories, values, and knowledge.
It helps us engage successfully with people from other backgrounds as well as understand the dynamics of our own culture.
In an atmosphere of security and trust participants exchange habits and modes of behaviour underlying cultural differences and potential culture shocks.
This afternoon we will focus on Austrian and German culture, explore similarities and differences and are also curious to hear your knowledge and stories in which you can shed light on your own cultures.
About the Diversophy Afternoons
The aim is to develop the following skills in students: cultural self-awareness, self-development (as each one is responsible for their own learning) appreciation of cultural difference, acquisition and application of new knowledge and skills.
Moreover, local students gain the possibility to participate in “internationalization at home” and the cultural diversity and heterogeneity at FH JOANNEUM is emphasized.
Who can participate in the course?
All students, external participants and staff are welcome to attend the cultural evenings as guests. No registration is required!
