Student Projects

Student projects in the first two semesters are a central component of the degree programme and play a decisive role in professional specialisation and the application of the skills learned in professional life.

Students gain a professional specialisation as they apply their theoretical knowledge in real e-sports projects. This not only deepens their understanding of the industry, but also expands specific professional competences.

By working on practical projects, students learn how to solve complex problems in a team and how to take responsibility for projects independently. These skills are particularly in demand in the e-sports industry, where innovation and flexibility are essential.

Students have the opportunity to work with well-known e-sports organisations, gaming companies, event agencies or media, for example with major e-sports organisers, game developers or sponsors such as ESL, Red Bull or Riot Games.

Students also find topics for their Master’s thesis through practical projects. Companies often offer support, which further increases the chances of professional collaboration. Through direct contact with industry experts, students gain valuable experience that makes them sought-after specialists on the e-sports labour market.
