Participating in the Erasmus staff mobility program is a unique opportunity to broaden your professional horizons while immersing yourself in new cultures and gaining new impressions – in an increasingly globally networked world. But what makes this experience so valuable? These and other exciting topics await you in the FH Worldwide blog series.

Teaching internationally and building networks

FH JOANNEUM teaching staff have the opportunity to teach at an Erasmus+ partner university for between two and five days as part of Erasmus teacher mobility. An international environment offers the perfect opportunity to try out new teaching methods, promote your own subject area with innovative ideas and network with colleagues worldwide.

Further education and exchange for university staff

Administrative and academic staff at FH JOANNEUM have the opportunity to take part in Erasmus staff training. This enables them to gain valuable insights into the day-to-day work of other international universities and European companies, improve their foreign language skills and exchange ideas with international colleagues.

Become part of the global exchange

The Erasmus+ program countries initially include all countries of the European Union. In addition, the EFTA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are also part of the program, as well as Turkey, North Macedonia and Serbia.

Erasmus+ also offers the possibility of funding stays for teachers and general university staff in so-called partner countries outside Europe. However, this option is subject to the availability of the corresponding funding in the respective academic year. Please contact the FH JOANNEUM International Relations  in advance to clarify whether and for which countries funding is available and take the opportunity to explore Erasmus+ staff mobility and become part of a global network.
