Project Duration01.12.2022 – 30.11.2024
The CSecTor project, aimed at strengthening cybersecurity in operational technologies, has yielded valuable results. During the final meeting, key advancements were presented to help organizations make their critical systems more secure and protect them sustainably.
The CSecTor project, focused on cybersecurity in operational technologies, celebrated its successful closing event on October 22 in Riga, organized by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Since its inception in Austria, the project was primarily managed virtually, enhancing efficiency and reducing environmental impact by lowering CO₂ emissions through avoided travel.
The outcomes of the CSecTor project provide organizations with concrete tools and solutions to strengthen their cybersecurity. Here are the key achievements:
- Cybersecurity Policy: A structured policy was developed to help organizations identify and mitigate security risks effectively. This comprehensive guideline provides a roadmap for securely managing operational technologies.
- Self-Assessment Tool: This tool allows companies and professionals to assess their cybersecurity capabilities independently, enabling early identification of vulnerabilities.
- Training Course: A practical course offers essential knowledge, raising awareness and strengthening cybersecurity skills.
Even after the project’s conclusion, these resources remain accessible and can continue to be used to enhance understanding and security in operational technologies. Project partners encourage everyone interested to share the insights and materials to sustainably bolster cybersecurity in this critical sector.
