PRINTTEX / Mobile Wall Printer

How can digital pictures be transferred to one‘s own walls? This question was the central focus of the “Printtex” design study. “Printtex” is a mobile wall printer which works using the same principle as an ink-jet printer. First, the motif is generated on a tablet or a PC and afterwards sent to the “Printtex”. Like using a paint roller, the picture is then transferred onto the wall while two sensors limit the print range.
