Neighbours is about two neighboring houses, whose balconies are only separated by a tiny gap. This film looks at how the inhabitants of the various floors and balconies deal with the proximity of their neighbors. Through various scenarios we discover how this intricate social system functions. This film covers the topics of anonymity while living in a city, helping others, and adapting to specific living situations.
Exemplary artists such as Alex Grigg, Hannah Jacobs and Sophie Koko Gate, as well as established animation software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, TV Paint, and proven workflows were tested and analyzed, and inspired the creation of this film.
