Product development lab

Innovative food products are realised in the product development laboratory. It serves not only as a research and development platform, but also as a training centre for students and as a venue for seminars and workshops. This is where creativity and expertise come together to create and further develop innovative products.

A variety of physical and microbiological processes are tested and optimised here in order to process primary products and produce high-quality food. These processes include agglomerating, dispersing, emulsifying, heating, drying, sterilising, fermenting and fermenting.
A wide range of modern processing and production machinery is available in the laboratory to carry out these processes. This technical equipment makes it possible to carry out and improve various production steps in a controlled manner.

The laboratory therefore not only provides the infrastructure for advanced research and innovation, but also practical training. Under the guidance of experts, students work intensively on the technological possibilities in food production in various study projects. Extraordinary products have also been created here in the course of bachelor theses.
