GREENOVET Conference

Vocational Excellence for a Green Europe
GREENOVET Konferenz

The conference on 5 and 6 June will celebrate European vocational excellence and initiatives for green skills development, while also showcasing the achievements of the GREENOVET project, which is dedicated to promoting vocational education and training (VET) in green innovation across Europe.

The conference aims to bring together stakeholders at regional, national, and transnational levels with key actors from local innovation and ecosystems in various formats (panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, pitches, matchmaking, study visits, and more) to actively contribute to shaping a greener and more sustainable future, focusing on European vocational excellence and initiatives for the development of green skills.

The conference is supported by the participation of reputable partners such as the European Training Foundation (ETF), the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF), the State of Styria, ÖAD, the European Commission, UNIDO, UNESCO-UNEVOC, and many others.

About GREENOVET

The conference is part of GREENOVET, an international project under ERASMUS+ KA3 with 18 project partners from 4 European countries, supporting the development of excellence in vocational education in the field of green innovation in Europe. This was achieved through the establishment of 4 “Centres of Vocational Excellence” (CoVEs) in Austria, Finland, North Macedonia, and Portugal.
