Want to learn a new language over the holidays, prepare intensively for your semester abroad or quickly get back up to speed with your favourite language? Then you have come to the right place! Our intensive courses have certainly earned their name. Over a period of 8 days, we will help you hone your language skills – all in a pleasant and motivating course setting! You will also be awarded 3 ECTS credits for the language course which count towards the Intercultural Skills Certificate (ISC). All our intensive courses are open to students AND staff of FH JOANNEUM! Curious?
INTENSIVE COURSES IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/25
In the academic year 2023/24, all intensive courses will be offered only in February 2024 to ensure direct continuation of the follow-up course in the summer semester.
For February 2024, the following intensive courses are planned (09:00-12:30, Eggenberger Allee 11, 3rd floor, room to be announced)::
- Intensive Japanese A1/1 (10-19.02.2025)
- Intensive Spanish A1/1 (10-19.02.2025)
- Intensive Italian A1/1 (10-19.02.2025)
Note
Registration for the Intensive Courses in February 2024 opens on 9 December 2024 and is possible until 2 February 2025. Please note that the number of course places is limited!
Did you know that there are between 6000 and 7000 languages in the world which are spoken by 7 billion people in 189 independent states? So high time to learn at least one new one!
COURSE FEES
Course fees for English Warm-Ups and intensive courses (30 units of 45 minutes each) :
- Students at FH JOANNEUM: € 100,-: Before registering, please check with the Head of your degree programme that he/she will cover the remaining course fee of € 100,-
- Graduates of FH JOANNEUM: € 200,-
- Staff at FH JOANNEUM: Course fees can be covered by the Head of the degree programme, otherwise € 200,-.
- Relatives of students or staff members at FH JOANNEUM (min. age: 18 years): € 200,-
- External participants (min. age: 18 years): € 230,-
