Orientation Packages

In order to prepare you for your time at FH JOANNEUM and to help you with all administrative issues, we offer various packages before semester start. These offers are open to exchange students and international degree-seeking students.

The division of International Relations offers the following packages:

To get the best possible introduction for your stay at FH JOANNEUM, it is mandatory that you participate in one of our orientation packages.

Please note that if you DO NOT attend/register any of the Orientation packages, we will not be able to support you with any administrative issues.

CULTURE&FUN Package

Have some fun before the semester starts! This package offers you a great opportunity to get to know Graz, Styria, and your new colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.

This package includes:

An extensive social programme with intercultural workshops and exkursions - get to know FH JOANNEUM, your new home and your colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.
Extensive administrative assistance - we will help you take care of all the paperwork you need to complete in order to live in Austria and study at FH JOANNEUM.

Dates: 23.09 -27.09.2024 (1 week)
Fee: EUR 170,--
Deadline for registration: 15 August 2024

LANGUAGE Package

Use the time before the semester start for an intensive language course to prepare you for studying at FH JOANNEUM. Improve your German in a pleasant atmosphere over a course of 60 study units (this is twice as much as a two-hour semester course). If you have no knowledge of German, this intensive course will equip you with the basic skills to immerse yourself in your studies.

This package includes:

A three-week German language course at your level.
Extensive administrative assistance - we will help you to take care of all of the paperwork you need to live in Austria and study at FH JOANNEUM.

Dates: 09.09-26.09.2024 (3 weeks)
Fee: EUR 340,--

PREMIUM Package

This package includes:

A three-week German language course at your level: Use the time before the semester start for an intensive language course to prepare you for studying at FH JOANNEUM. International degree-seeking students from non-EU/EEA countries are obliged to take part in all PREMIUM Package activities before the start of the academic year - the costs are covered by the tuition fee.
