From 5th to 9th of September 2019, the Academic Network Austria Campus-Exhibition “The Messy Shape of Problems” took place at the Ars Electronica Festival 2019.

At the Postcenter Linz, participant from Design Universities all over Austria met to discuss the role of design in the couse of rapidly changing technology. Projects, presented by students of Die Angewandte Wien, FH JOANNEUM Graz, FH Salzburg, FH St. Pölten, FH Vorarlberg, Kunstuniversität Linz, New Design University St. Pölten, Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, Alpen Adria Universität Klagenfurt and FH Oberösterreich, formed the basis of the discussions.

All three days started with discussions in the morning, followed by workshops in the afternoon. The aim was to find approaches how the education of designer can tackle the issue of growing complexity in the field of design and technology.
