Enneplus

The project, by introducing the concept of eco-innovation into the VET system, will be able to respond to the challenges posed by the European Green Deal and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy. The main objective of the ENNE+ project is to enhance the capacity of VET providers to contribute to transformative and sustainable change in their local communities through networking, capacity building and challenging activities in the field of eco-innovation.

ENNE+ aims to follow-up on two EU-funded projects that have successfully established/reinforced national networks of VET providers in combination with the exploitation of existing CoP for the promotion of EU competence frameworks.

The main objective of the ENNE+ project is to enhance the capacity of VET providers in contributing to the transformative and sustainable change of their local communities through networking, capacity building and challenged-based activities in the field of Eco-innovation.

In order to do so, the project will support the enhancement of existing VET national networks and the creation of new ones in four piloting countries (Italy, Portugal, Spain and Austria), with the potential to furtherly expand in the EU thanks to the involvement of two Europeanwide networks.

The project activities will promote the quality and attractiveness of VET, with a specific focus in the field of eco and Green innovation, in particular by:

– involving existing VET National Networks in the integration and scaling-up of innovative solutions and approaches for enhancing the attractiveness of VET, by adapting the Social Hackademy Methodology in the field of VET and organising Hackathons;

– setting-up VET driven Eco-innovative communities and engaging them in the co-design, incubation and sustainable exploitation of greentech solutions;

– facilitating multi-stakeholder knowledge sharing and partnership establishment to ensure long-term impact at local, national and international level.

Objectives:

The main objective of the ENNE+ project is to enhance the capacity of VET providers in contributing to the transformative and sustainable change of their local communities through networking, capacity building and challenged-based activities in the field of Eco-innovation.

In respect to the objectives of the action set by the call, the ENNE+ project responds to every one of them:

  • Innovative initiatives with a strong impact on education and training reforms in specific strategic policy areas, by adapting and scaling up an innovative methodology, that will act as the operational and educational guidelines for the implementation of the eco-innovation challenge-based learning system for VET excellence;
  • Contributing to the strengthening of Europe’s innovation capacity by promoting innovation in education and training, by developing the National campaigns for the promotion of the ENNE+ Social Hackademy and thanks to the involvement of pan-European and national VET providers networks, the project will be able to involve and enhance already existing VET networks with the engagement of new VET stakeholders;
  • Creating systemic change through fostering innovation at both practice and policy-level, by setting up local communities for eco-innovation, that will be involved in the co-design, incubation and sustainable exploitation of Greentech solutions;
  • Support forward-looking ideas focusing on key topics and priorities at EU level, with a clear potential to be mainstreamed in one or more sectors, by adapting the Social Hackademy methodology to the VET sector, demonstrating a clear potential to be mainstreamed in different sectors;
  • As fully innovative, ground-breaking educational methods and practices and/or transfer of innovation: ensuring at EU level a sustainable exploitation of innovative project results and/or transferability into different contexts and audiences, by involving the eco-innovative local communities in the development of long-term action plans, in order to integrate the Greentech solutions in the local development; at the same time, the participation of the VET providers in a Blended course for the submission of KA2
  • Cooperation Partnership proposals will ensure a wider exploitation and transferability of the project’s results in different contexts.
