This master’s thesis focuses on the travelling exhibition as a workpiece. The main focus is on the modular exhibition architecture and its creation process by means of visualisations and descriptions in the form of drawings, renderings, and photographs. The design process is divided into three main themes: Conception, Planning, and Implementation. From the first drafts, various material descriptions, the exhibition subject, graphics, typographies, and cost breakdowns to the final construction drawings, an insight into the approach to designing the touring exhibition is given as a practice-oriented summary. The final section of the master’s thesis contains the documentation of the construction and the opening ceremony on Bornholm.
