This means that alternatives to private cars are required for the need of transporting goods. There is less transport of cargo within the private household sector than there was a few years ago. Consequently, it is important to envision alternative uses for a bicycle trailer. The concept of a stepladder was identified as the perfect solution, as it is already part of the basic equipment of households and therefore does not require any additional storage space. As a result, a multifunctional product was developed that is suitable as both a stepladder and for transporting loads.
