M.S.U. CONTAINER / operation room

M.S.U. a mobile operation room for use in crisis areas by humanitarian aid organizations, such as, doctors without borders. The system is based on a standard 20’ container, thus enabling its transport worldwide by truck, train, ship, or transport airplane. Expandable by means of two extendable side modules. Equipment: operation table, operation light, gurneys, anesthesia cart, multi-functional trolley, wash basin, sterilization facility, as well as air-conditioning and electrical generator. A sun sail, made partially of organic photovoltaic foil, can be used to create both shade and electrical energy.
