In order to provide a visible and understandable offer of a recording studio to potential customers, the right market positioning of a recording studio is of enormous importance. Large recording studios are not exposed to the problem of gaining new customers because they have already gained achieved awareness within the music industry. Smaller not yet established recording studios often have to assert themselves against the big parties of the market. The main reason for this is the lack of recognition by the target audience. To prevent this, the right market positioning is even more important.
The documentation of working on a project, in collaboration with Studio Brighten, which includes branding and marketing of a recording studio, shows how to prepare a new studio for its first marketing steps and how to behave in the initial phase. This leads to the following research question: What needs to be taken care of in order to build a customer base for a not yet established recording studio?
