SMART FOR ME CONCEPT / Smart

The main topic of this thesis is the individualization of vehicles within the small car segment. There is an increasing demand for smaller vehicles and more options for car personalization. The approach taken reduces the logistic effort in production since it centres on one basic car body. Later on, the individualization takes place at the retailer. Exterior and interior can be adjusted locally using predefined construction parts that meet the customers’ requirements.
