Sporting activity makes people susceptible to small injuries, which often receive little or almost no attention. Artificial intelligence can provide a first point of contact for amateur athletes in the case of non‒acute sports injuries. Especially Generation Y, aged between 24 and 35 years, is the target group of this work due to their affinity for technology and their enthusiasm for sports.
The result of the concept development shows the interactive prototype of an app for assistance in case of sports injuries, which was tested by six members of the potential target group. The tests proved that especially the personality of the system and the seemingly realistic conversation create trust and a positive impression, but also mistrust regarding the sensitive use of data.
