The project From Stigma to Underwear focuses on the self-confidence of those affected and the reduction of plastic. The product consists of two layers, a flushable disposable layer and a second textile layer that can be adapted to clothing. To avoid clogging the drain pipes in the toilet, the inner bag is made of a special plastic that dissolves in water in a short time. Since the bag has to catch the discharge, it is impregnated on the inside. The second, upper layer can be sealed watertight by press seams and reduced in size by folding. Furthermore, it is possible to configure the product individually through various designs on the Convatec website.
