Styria Stool / Stool

How do you create a chair from three identical basic parts?
Styria Stool / Dunstabzug

The STYRIA STOOL is composed of a seating surface and three identical legs, which were inspired by people sitting on each other’s laps in a circle to achieve stability. The squared legs result in fascinating contact points between them because of their rotation relative to one another. The twist in the legs implies a state of imperfection. The 5-axis technology is used to connect the slanted legs with the flat seating surface and to enable the stool to stand evenly on the ground.
