A social campaign is much more effective if it uses a well‒designed mascot as its face. The key component of this thesis was the design of a mascot for the province of Imbabura in Ecuador.
A mascot which represents a region has to possess elements which clearly link it to that region. ‘What should the mascot do and how should it advertise?’ are the questions which are answered in this thesis.
