How are photo booths integrated into public spaces? They provide opportunities to be more than just the documentation of their users. This thesis describes the history of the photo booth, as well as its current use as an interactive communication tool.
The focus of this thesis is the further technical development of the photo booth, in consideration of the resulting content. The goal here is to increase the number of opportunities with the help of efficient digital implementation, and without losing the analog. In addition, conceptual solutions and communication strategies are evaluated.
