Tip / Razor

Tip is a razor that ensures a safe wet shave, is easy to repair due to durable materials and thus becomes a lifelong companion. The industrial product wet razor consists of many individual parts made of different materials, which are mostly thrown away after use. The production of these parts is very costly and energy-intensive. Whether these many individual parts are necessary and whether they actually contribute to a safe shave is critically questioned in this bachelor thesis. It also examines how this trend towards disposable products can be reversed and the razor made a durable product again. Safety during shaving is ensured by an innovative design of the razor in which the shaving head is guided close to the fingertips. This allows bumps and hard-to-reach areas of the body to be felt and the shave to be better controlled.
