Vento is clipped between the base plate and the ostomy bag. Thanks to 5 integrated separate filter units, a replaceable filter cartridge can be used to prevent the ostomy bag from ballooning. To ensure easy handling, each of the 5 filter segments can be pushed forward with a lever movement. With VENTO, ostomy bags can be used for longer and are easier to produce. This reduces waste and gives the wearer security and independence.

Vento is an ostomy filter system in which the filters can be changed separately from the ostomy bag. It was developed by Patrick Scheuble as part of his project work in his Industrial Design degree programme.
