Priv.-Doz., Dr. Anna Aleksanyan is sepcialised in Innovation and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). She has long time research and extensive international academic experience. She has held positions at institutions such as the University of Graz, University of Basel, University of Heidelberg, and Yerevan State University. Her work emphasizes education sector strategic planning, curriculum development, innovative teaching methods and scenarios (Challenge-based learning, Project-based learning), e-didactic, communications-consulting-coaching. Her doctoral research at the University of Basel was on communication models with futurological analysis, including risk assessment approaches.
Dr. Aleksanyan has contributed to Erasmus+ projects, including PRINTeL, which emphasizes technology-enhanced teaching with a strong focus on hybrid and blended learning models.
Currently, she leads two impactful projects: ENNEPlus: Promoting networking and education in Europe through Eco-Digithon and social hackathons with challenge-based learning scenarios for vocational and educational training (VET). GreenWB: Driving sustainability and environmental awareness in education through the development of Sustainable Living Labs (SLL) and green curriculum innovations.
Dr.Aleksanyan's research includes comparative analyses of educational systems and educational challenges. Dr. Aleksanyan has published monographs, handbooks, and numerous scientific articles.
