Qualifications in sociology (diploma 2001, PhD 2009, University of Graz; habilitation 2016 in sociology, University of Innsbruck). Many years of professional experience in regional development, research projects, teaching and research at universities in Austria (also as substitute professor) and abroad (Luxembourg, Germany, also as freelancer).

Since September 2023 at the Institute of Social Work at FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences Graz. Main fields of work: Social (work) research, science & technology studies; equity, diversity & social inclusion; social structure, organization & social management. Supervision of theses (Bachelor, Master).
