Christoph Pammer is a social worker and Public Health scientist and activist in Graz. He has worked for the Social-medical Centre Liebenau" and "Zebra", attended the Swiss School of Public Health and has been engaged as a counselor for health organisations as well as in teaching at universities for many years. He is focussing at the crossroads of health and social policies, science and practice at: social inequality and health, methods in epidemiology and social science, health policy, health promotion and prevention. From 2017 - 2019 Mr. Pammer was leading a EU-Interreg-Project to promoting and implementing case and care management for the elderly in Eastern Styria and Western Hungary (Chance B). Since 2019 he works as a social worker of the city of Graz in the primary health care centre MEDIUS - Zentrum für Gesundheit. 2020 he was awarded by the European Health Forum Gastein for defending the COVID-19 pandemics by the "Grazer Telefon-Kette gegen Covid-19".
