Johanna Theurl joined FH JOANNEUM in 1998. Prior employers include a PR agency in Vienna where she worked on the government’s EU communications campaign. Johanna Theurl graduated in psychology from the University of Graz. Her dissertation on cognitive structures in attitudes to Austria’s accession to the EU focused on the relationship between information and attitude.
She is Head of the PR and Marketing Devision. Together with her team and in coordination with the Managing Directors Office, she is responsible for the central strategic orientation, coordination and implementation of corporate communications at FH JOANNEUM. This includes not only the production of brochures and folders, but also the website, press relations, social media, event management, course guidance and student recruitment.
