Profile
After completing her training as a certified health and pediatric nurse, Nadine Gams gained several years of professional work experience in a gynecology and obstetrics department. Her primary focus was on providing nursing care for mothers and newborns during the postpartum period. Particular emphasis was placed on instructing, educating, and advising mothers, on breastfeeding and lactation.
At the Medical University of Graz, she successfully completed her Bachelor's degree in Health and Nursing Sciences and further deepened her knowledge in the field of education during her Master's studies.
After graduating, she taught as a nursing educator at the Bildungszentrum Ost für Pflege und Gesundheit des Landes Steiermark , where she focused on pediatric care.
Since March 2020, Nadine Gams is a lecturer at the Institute of Health and Nursing at FH JOANNEUM, where she is intensively involved with nursing-related topics in pediatrics. Since June 2024, Nadine Gams is a a certified School Health Nurse.
