Silke Glatzer has been working in the International Relations Department at FH JOANNEUM since 2013. Her field of activity at the Kapfenberg campus is wide-ranging. She is responsible for supporting international students, providing them with advice and assistance. She also informs students and staff about opportunities to spend time abroad.
She also runs German courses, the course "Cultural Diversity at FH JOANNEUM", the Tandem Programme and the Event and Buddy Programme. Through her commitment, she creates a lively learning environment and promotes intercultural exchange on our campus.
During her degree programme in Romance Studies (Spanish)/European Ethnology and the university course in German as a Foreign Language at the University of Graz, Silke Glatzer had the opportunity to attend language courses, study and complete a teaching internship in Ecuador, Spain and Albania.
After completing her studies, she continued teaching, worked as an Austrian lecturer in Mexico for several years and taught German as a second and foreign language in Spain and Austria for another few years.
