Since 2010, Verena Neubauer has been part of the library team at the Graz campus. A key focus of her work is in publication services, where she advises researchers on topics such as Open Access, the library's publisher partnerships, and ORCID. She manages the publication entry in the FOS portal and the dissemination of Open Access publications from our researchers in the institutional repository ePUB, with the goal of increasing the visibility of scientific output. Additionally, she addresses the issue of predatory publishing and assists researchers in identifying reputable publication opportunities.
Verena Neubauer also oversees electronic resources and is responsible, among other things, for the online catalogue. She is also involved in the maintenance of the user interface between JOANNEUMonline and the library system, ensuring that FH JOANNEUM members have seamless access to library services.
Moreover, Verena Neubauer is in charge of the administration and delivery of training sessions on literature research, working closely with the academic programs at FH JOANNEUM. Her responsibilities also include media acquisition and contributing to the interlibrary loan service.
