Position at ZML - Innovative Learning Scenarios:
Wolfgang Schrattner is responsible for the technical management of Moodle, the central learning platform at FH JOANNEUM. This includes in particular ongoing software updates and the annual Moodle instance upgrades. He is also responsible for the development and maintenance of all interfaces to internal FH systems. He actively participates in Moodle conferences and administrator meetings to promote the exchange of know-how across institutes.

Professional experience:
After finishing school he spent 25 years working as a software developer for a large Austrian company with a focus on application development, software integration and configuration management. In spring 2013 he became acquainted with the processes and technical systems at FH JOANNEUM as part of his internship and has since then been responsible for the administration of all central learning platforms of the E-Learning Service.

Education:
Wolfgang Schrattner completed his secondary school education in 1983 at HTL Kapfenberg and then started work at the software department of a large Austrian company. During this time he attended a range of continuing education courses in the fields of personal development and engineering. From 2010 to 2017 he completed a Bachelor's degree in Internet Technology and following a Master’s degree in IT Law & Management at FH JOANNEUM Kapfenberg. He is a certified OER practitioner.
