Environmental management (FT)

In the sixth semester of the degree programme in Environmental Management, students complete a compulsory internship in order to prepare them for the world of work. Working at a company of their choice, they spend at least eight weeks working full-time and applying their newly acquired knowledge in a business environment. The students work on assignments which offer them an insight into future professional employment. The internship offers valuable experience and allows students to get a taste of the interdisciplinary and, in most cases, international working environment.

The Environmental Management degree programme has an excellent network of partner companies. Our business partners include companies such as Saubermacher, voestalpine, Energie Steiermark, Verbund, Holding Graz, Magna, Planum Fallast and Verkehrplus. When deciding on the company in which our students want to complete their internship, they can choose between different companies and sectors: The range extends from small and medium-sized companies to large international corporations in the private and public sectors (e.g.: municipal administration, federal ministries, etc.).
