Environmental management (FT)
My StudiesEnvironmental management, as well as energy and mobility management, are international topics with an exciting and dynamic labour market.
Intercultural expertise and language skills are required by many employers. Our students therefore not only benefit from personal experience abroad, they are also ideally prepared for a future career in international companies. In addition, our partner universities abroad open up a wide range of specialisations and new perspectives.
How does it work?
Students may spend either their fourth or fifth semester abroad.
The International Office at FH JOANNEUM is responsible for organising the semester spent abroad. Working closely with our partner universities and the individual student, we compare the contents of the degree programmes and identify suitable courses which can then be credited to the student’s own programme.
Students may, of course, also organise and spend their semester abroad at a university which is not yet part of our partner network. Here the transfer of course credits must first be discussed with the head of degree programme. Our students can also complete their compulsory internship with a company abroad, in order to extend their intercultural competencies.
Partner universities
Our partner universities are selected to cover the widest possible geographical area, allowing our students to choose from the greatest possible range of cultural environments. Another important factor is the available course content: every effort is made to ensure that the curriculum offered by the partner university is largely compatible with that of the degree programme.
