Joint Master’s – Study all over Europe
In the first semester, you will get to know at least two European universities as part of a mixed intensive programme. In the second semester of your degree programme, you have the opportunity to choose a specialisation. This allows you to focus on one of the following four areas of specialisation. Depending on your choice, you will complete this semester at FH JOANNEUM or at one of the partner universities:
Simulation-driven Innovation in Smart Manufacturing (Mondragon University, Spain):
In this specialisation, you will dedicate yourself to simulations and data analysis to optimise modern manufacturing. You will learn to analyse material/process relationships, reduce costs and environmental impact and develop innovative products.
Additive Manufacturing Technologies (Koszalin University of Technology, Poland):
This programme prepares engineers for Industry 4.0 and focuses on the design, development and application of additive manufacturing. Graduates acquire knowledge in product design, new manufacturing techniques and quality assessment of 3D-printed parts.
Smart Production Engineering (FH JOANNEUM, Austria):
In this specialisation, you will deal with the optimisation of manufacturing systems using advanced methods and technologies. Learn all about improving product value, designing efficient production, improving logistics with digital tools and using data analyses/AI for smarter decisions and automation.
Robotics for Manufacturing (Ecole d’ingénieurs ESTIA, France):
This programme covers robotics in advanced manufacturing, from robotic modelling and cell design (including sensors) to the application of robotic cells to processes such as composite and metal additive manufacturing.
