Core Contents of the Master’s Programme

The European Joint Master in Digital and Sustainable Manufacturing Engineering programme focuses on modern manufacturing, a key industry for the future of Europe. From day one, you will acquire the practical skills and knowledge you need to succeed in the global job market. During the program, you’ll gain valuable work experience through at least five months of employment or an internship at a European company, earning a competitive salary while building skills for your future career. Additionally, you’ll benefit from international mobility, experiencing at least two European universities through a blended intensive program in your first semester. Depending on your specialisation, you will complete the second semester at FH JOANNEUM or at one of the three partner universities. The Joint Master’s programme focuses on the following topics across all three semesters:

  • Smart Production Engineering

This unique Master’s program is a collaboration between four leading universities in the Eu4Dual European Alliance. Three of these—Mondragon University (Spain), FHJ (Austria), and KUT (Poland)—award the joint degree, while ESTIA (France) offers a specialization track as part of the core team.
