In the third semester our students complete a 7 week internship totalling at least 250 working hours. Here too the emphasis is on linking theoretical knowledge with practical application. Yet again our students have the opportunity to forge links and prove themselves in the world of work.
Our internship companies include, e.g.:
The internship I completed at AVL List GmbH as part of my Master’s degree allowed me to put into practice what I had learnt and so was one of the most exciting times of my university life for broadening my knowledge. I was involved in a wide variety of different project stages within the DSA department (System Development Engine Controls) over a four month period. This enabled me to play an active part specifically in topics connected with exhaust gas treatment using catalysts (SCR, for example).
The experience of working within an efficient team will also be helpful in my future professional life. In addition, the internship was excellent preparation for my Master’s thesis.
