Study, work and private life – successfully combined

The Master’s degree programme in Financial Management is specially designed to be optimally compatible with a full-time career or family commitments. Lessons take place in a clearly structured weekend format: Fridays from 16:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 17:00. This time model makes it possible to integrate the degree programme efficiently into the existing daily routine – without having to give up professional activities or private time.

E-learning

A particular advantage of the degree programme is the extensive virtual campus, which supports modern synchronous (live) and asynchronous (time-independent) e-learning formats. Numerous courses can be completed digitally, which maximises flexibility. Some content is also taught in the form of online courses on Thursday evenings.

Self-study

In addition to classroom teaching and e-learning, the degree programme includes self-study phases in which students work on and deepen their knowledge independently. These are an integral part of the didactic concept and allow for individual prioritisation, time management and in-depth study.

Attendance

Compulsory attendance applies in particular to practice-intensive units and group work. However, in the event of justified absences (e.g. work appointments, illness, family commitments), flexibility is provided. In addition, hybrid participation, i.e. online connection to face-to-face events, is possible for many units – especially in the case of travelling for work or family commitments. This enables flexible and location-independent participation in many learning units.

Maximum flexibility for your individual life

In addition, public holidays and long weekends are consciously taken into consideration. Courses are planned in such a way that there is sufficient time for family, friends, leisure and relaxation. Special professional situations or private events, such as a new addition to the family, relocation or unusual work peaks, are also dealt with flexibly and understandingly in order to make the programme easy to study.

The degree programme is not only suitable for working people, but also for people who are in a phase of professional reorientation or who want to concentrate fully on their studies.
Whether you have a job, a family or are studying full-time, this Master’s programme offers you the flexibility, consideration and structure to successfully achieve your academic and professional goals.
