International perspectives: a semester abroad as a career booster
The Master’s degree programme in Financial Management not only offers you a sound academic education, but also the opportunity to broaden your horizons far beyond national borders. As part of the programme, you have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at one of our renowned international partner universities.
A semester abroad enables you to deepen your knowledge of the subject, establish international networks and familiarise yourself with new cultural and economic perspectives. Our partner universities are among the leading universities in Europe and beyond – specialising in finance, banking, international management and the digital economy. Whether Barcelona, Copenhagen, Seoul, Amsterdam or Stockholm: each of these destinations offers excellent teaching quality, high-calibre lecturers and a clear focus on international finance topics.
Particularly attractive: the courses completed abroad can be integrated into the course of study and credited towards regular modules – without extending the duration of the programme. You also have the opportunity to write your Master’s thesis abroad, for example in cooperation with a local research institution or an international company. This allows you to combine academic work with international practical experience – a real plus for your career.
A semester abroad is not only a valuable professional experience, but also strengthens your personal skills: you train intercultural communication, expand your language skills and develop an even better understanding of global financial markets and entrepreneurial thinking across borders.
If you have international ambitions, want to assert yourself in global competition or want to work in a multinational environment later on, a stay abroad as part of this Master’s programme is an ideal opportunity to qualify for this.
