FH Health Campus Kapfenberg

In the future, more academically trained experts will be needed in the healthcare sector to look after the well-being of patients. This academic training is now also available in Upper Styria. The Health Care and Nursing degree programme has gained another location for practical training right in the heart of the city of Kapfenberg with the FH Health Campus Kapfenberg. The Bachelor’s degree programme is of the highest quality and enables students to provide the best care and nursing in a wide variety of settings.

The entire course is held in exactly the same form as at the main location in Graz and is equipped with a state-of-the-art simulation centre.

We invite all young people and career changers to apply for the Healthcare and Nursing degree programme at the Kapfenberg Health Campus from November 2024.

Thanks to the new location, it will be possible in future to complete a practice-orientated degree course right on the doorstep. The modern campus offers an ideal learning environment and has links to hospitals and care facilities in the region.

The Kapfenberg Health Campus has excellent public transport connections and Kapfenberg railway station is just a five-minute walk away. Students also benefit from the diverse infrastructure in the surrounding area, such as the ECE Kapfenberg shopping centre and the town centre.

The decision to offer the Bachelor’s degree programme in Health Care and Nursing in Kapfenberg is a response to the increasing demand in the healthcare and nursing professions on the one hand, and on the other hand creates a corresponding training opportunity outside of Graz.

Tip

For students, there are funding opportunities such as the AMS care grant of 1,400 euros per month or for all other students the training contribution of 600 euros from the provincial government of Styria.
