I completed my internship from February to May 2022
My tasks during the internship:
I learned Jira Service Management in self-study, implemented the configuration of the service project according to the wishes of the helpdesk team, and created detailed documentation (helpdesk manual) of the configurations, problems and helping instructions. I am also writing my bachelor thesis on improving the performance of the helpdesk. I was offered a one-month part-time extension of my working contract to provide follow-up helpdesk support: creation of Jira dashboards.
Why I enjoyed my internship:
I was allowed to learn and use a new system and to write documentation. I know my work is valued and has benefited my valued colleagues. That pleases me the most.
What I have learned:
The administration of Jira Service Management projects. I have internalized data protection and security in everyday work, e.g. always leave the PC locked.
Cool experiences and successes:
The documentation was completed in exchange with my very helpful colleague. The launch of the new service desk was successful thanks to constant feedback. The company outing with Escape The Room and Levantine food (very delicious!) was fantastic. There is a daily 6 Euro meal voucher for meals in the canteen (which cooks excellently).

By Peter Kastner. He was a lecturer at the lecture “pHealth” and I approached him personally about an internship.
