In the second semester, as part of the “Business Lab and Company Dialogue” course, the students will work on highly praxis-oriented projects that are related to the subject area “Global Strategic Decision Making”. As part of project work or group work, excursions, and/or guest lectures, the students will, among other things, repeat the basics of project management and apply them directly in a practical setting.
During their semester abroad in the third semester, the students should also carry out a project in order to deepen their project management skills, as well as enhance their intercultural awareness and communication. The project should preferably be carried out with or for a company based in the respective country and should have a clear reference to the selected specialisation in Global Strategic Decision Making. The project is generally supervised and assessed remotely by lecturers from FH JOANNEUM.
In the fourth semester, you will have the opportunity, already during your studies, to prepare your entry to the professional world. Our degree programme works closely with numerous companies and clusters that regularly award master’s Theses to our students. The students will also have the opportunity to develop a clear view of their personal development and career planning as part of the “Career Development and Assessment Training” course and to try out self-presentation in application situations.
