After Graduation

Career paths

Graduates of the Master’s degree course will work in the same design studios and companies as those of the Bachelor’s degree, albeit on a more extensive range of tasks and with greater responsibility.
Bachelor’s graduates are primarily employed in the role of assistant, reflecting the difference in content between the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. In small and medium-sized enterprises there is also an opportunity to “grow into” executive positions with appropriate responsibilities.

Graduates of the Master’s degree course occupy positions involving independent creative work, demanding design development assignments, management and leadership skills and the authority to take responsibility. The focus here is on creativity and management. It should be borne in mind that, in large companies in the automotive industry and design agencies for example, Bachelor’s graduates tend to command a lower salary than Master’s graduates.
