Quality of Life and Sustainability in Tourism

My Studies

Key subject areas

Management. Quality of life.

You will acquire broad-ranging management skills in developing sustainable tourism offerings, especially health and sport tourism, and in enhancing the quality of life of all those involved.

Sustainability. Innovation. Regions.

You will learn about aspects of regional development, paired with funding and innovation management. The programme places a particular emphasis on the resources which are available and necessary to establish sustainable solutions for rural areas.

Service Design. Tourism. Wellness.

From initial idea to market launch: You will learn to design, develop and implement competitive tourism products. As well as innovative ideas for destinations, you will focus on product design and the customer-oriented management of health and wellness hotels.

Real-life tasks. Master’s thesis.

The two-semester project takes the form of tasks assigned by the tourism and leisure industry, giving you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of project management and working with customers. Your Master’s thesis and the examination of case studies also serve to deepen your knowledge.
