Our graduates are familiar with the new requirements and development potential at the interface between health tourism and the leisure industry. Their core competences involve the development, implementation and marketing of health-oriented tourism offers for leisure use and the optimal use of resources.

Our graduates pursue a wide range of careers from project management, marketing and sales in tourism organisations through to managing thermal spas or tourism organisations.

Graduates of Health Tourism and Leisure Management are equipped with:

  • a solid understanding of the links between health, society, tourism, leisure and sport
  • the ability to interpret research results, to evaluate and implement them in practice, as well as to undertake their own research
  • the ability to take on responsibility for leading organisational units and managing employees
  • extended knowledge of project management
  • the knowledge needed to apply service design as a means of increasing competitive advantages in health tourism
  • the ability to link segmented needs to marketable and sustainable tourism products
  • the expertise to integrate health education and experiences into tourism products
  • the ability to develop and realise strategies in the leisure industry
  • sufficient know-how to pool resources by networking as a means of developing regional tourism
