Logopedics is based on scientific principles. The programme supports efforts to establish logopedics as an independent scientific discipline. This is reflected in the 2021 curriculum which places a greater focus on special expertise and methodology and the establishment of journal clubs, a focus on evidence-based practice, statistics, student learning and self-management.
Research is the second pillar of our speech therapy training. Lecturers from different disciplines are specialists in relevant areas of speech therapy and the related sciences.
