Admission requirements

You meet the requirements for this Master’s degree programme if you have

  • a relevant Bachelor’s degree or
  • an equivalent qualification.

Relevant Bachelor’s or Diploma degrees in the fields of energy management, environmental management or mobility management include, e.g. Energy, Mobility and Environmental Management, all Bachelor’s courses of the FH JOANNEUM Department of Engineering, or Environmental System Sciences.

The Master’s degree programme is open to holders of Bachelor’s degrees from a wide range of universities, including

The list contains only a selection of possible university courses. Other similar fields of study are also permitted.

We also welcome applicants who have completed a relevant equivalent degree programme at other universities or in other countries.

If your degree is basically equivalent but you lack specific qualifications in technical or scientific subjects, you may gain the required knowledge in the course of the first year.

In cases of doubt, the head of degree programme will decide whether the admission requirements are met. You will be notified once we have received your complete application documents.

Language skills

The degree programme is taught in English. If you are proficient in English you should have no problem following the classes. Please send us a certificate evidencing your language skills unless these are included in your secondary school leaving certificate or similar diplomas.

Tip

The Master’s degree programme in Energy and Transport Management also welcomes applicants with professional experience and will take relevant prior knowledge into account.
