Internship

To ensure that you are well prepared for the professional world after graduation, this degree programme includes three compulsory internship phases.
In the second semester, you will have your first opportunity to apply the knowledge you have learnt in a company. Alternatively, you can complete your work placement in the form of an agricultural internship to work in organic and sustainable primary production and familiarise yourself with the value chain from the outset. This will give you a better understanding of the entire food system.

Compulsory work placement phase 2 takes place at the end of the fourth semester. This is immediately followed by compulsory internship 3 at the beginning of the 5th semester. This longer internship period gives students the opportunity to work in several companies or to combine both internship phases and spend several months in one company. You are free to choose the internship company as well as the type and size of the company. This allows you to pursue your own interests and personal specialisations.
You also have the opportunity to complete this internship abroad, from which you can benefit both personally and professionally.
