Sustainability Communication and Climate Journalism


Academic certificate programme for continuing education according to § 9 FHG

This is the first programme in the German-speaking world to teach climate and sustainability skills for professional communicators at an academic level. It is aimed at journalists working in all areas and types of media, as well as communicators from NGOs, politics and administration, the education sector, culture, civil society, and business. The course teaches you about alternative paths to a sustainable future and enhances your communication skills with strategic and practical expertise. The following scholarship programmes are generally open to students on the course: ‘Skills Check 2024’ of the FFG, ‘Green Jobs’ of the WAFF or the scholarship programme of the City of Graz (details on request).
