You meet the requirements for this Master’s degree programme if you have
Applicants with a degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) subject with 180 ECTS credits must provide evidence of at least 30 ECTS credits in electronics and technical informatics / computer engineering.
The Master’s degree programme in Power Electronic Engineering is open to holders of Bachelor’s degrees or Diploma degrees from a wide range of universities, e. g.
We also welcome applicants who have completed a relevant equivalent degree programme at other universities or in other countries.
If your degree is basically equivalent but you lack individual qualifications, admission to the course will be conditional on passing supplementary examinations to be taken in the course of the first year.
In cases of doubt, the head of degree programme will decide whether the admission requirements are met. You will be notified once we have received your complete application documents.
The degree programme is taught in English. If you are proficient in English at level B2 you should have no problem following the classes. Please send us a certificate evidencing your language skills unless these are included in your secondary school leaving certificate or similar diplomas.
If you do not meet this requirement, we recommend that you consider applying for our Bachelor’s degree programme in Electronics and Computer Engineering, which will prepare you perfectly for the Master’s programme.
